Dash Hole • Identify the wires which e xit from the end of the channel cov er . Identify the two wires that do not hav e large plastic connectors at the end. • Route the two wires through the hole in the dash w all. • P osition the dash on the vehicle body .
Assembl y 6 Microphone “T” end K e y Assembly Dash • Snap the ke y assemb ly into the dash. • Bend the plastic tip on the end of the microphone cord so that it f or ms a "T". • Fit the "T" end of the microphone cord down through the hole in the dash pock et.
10 Steering Wheel Cap Nut Steering Column “UP” Ta b • T urn the vehicle body upright. • P osition the steer ing wheel so that the spokes f orm a “Y” as shown. The tab on the steering wheel stem should f ace up . • Fit the steering wheel onto the steer ing column.
• Fit a spacer tube between the grille and the back of the brushguard, as shown. • Inser t a #8 x 4" screw through the brushguard and spacer tube and into the hole in the grille. • Tighten the screw with a Phillips scre wdriver . Do not ov er-tighten.
Assembl y 15 • Fit the screw pegs on the windshield br ack ets into the holes in the top surf ace of the dash. Press fir mly to fit the lip on each windshield brac ket into the slot in the top of the dash. • Inser t two #8 x 1" screws into each windshield brac k et.
• Fit the back half of the windshield fr ame onto the front half of the windshield frame . Make sure the slots at the bottom of the two windshield frame halv es are aligned. • Inser t ten #8 x 1 1 / 4 " screws into the bac k half of the windshield frame .
25 Assembl y • P osition the engine platf or m on a flat surf ace. • P osition the engine housing ov er the engine platf orm so that the tab (with spring) on the engine housing is on the same side as the adjuster bolt hole on the engine platf or m.
Assembl y 28 • P osition the hood upright. • Place the pretend engine assembly on the hood. Make sure the front of the air scoop on the pretend engine assembly f aces the front (narrow side) of the hood and that the loose batter y wire har ness connector e xtends down through the large hole in the center of the hood.
• Inser t each end of the long seat belt strap through a slot in the center of the seat. Make sure the f asteners f ace the outer edge of the seat. • Pull each side of the long seat belt strap e venly through the slots. Mak e sure to pull each T -loop through a slot.
35 #8 x 1" Screw • Inser t a #8 x 1" screw into the rear of seat as shown. • Tighten the screw with a Phillips scre wdriver . Do not ov er-tighten. Assembl y 20 37 38 • Extend the canop y completely around the spor t bar . Spor t Bar Canop y • Using saf ety scissors, remo ve the sport bar brack ets from the plastic connector .
KC TM Light Cov ers 42 • Fit the spor t bar and spor t bar suppor t legs into the holes in the v ehicle body . • Push down firmly on a spor t bar side leg while pulling up on the side f ender to fit the spor t bar into the vehicle body . • Repeat this procedure on the other side of the vehicle body .
Rear Bumper Suppor t T abs • F ace the rear of the vehicle. • Fit the low er rail on the rear b umper ov er the rear bumper support. • Gently bend the tabs at the bottom of the rear b umper under the v ehicle.
