2 Congratulations on your new pur chase. Y our oven has a number of f eatures to make cooking a great experience f or you: a choice of eight oven functions, including Rotisserie a conv enient, no-mess.
3 Safety and warnings W ARNING! Hot Sur face Hazar d Acc essible par ts may bec ome hot when in use. T o avoid burns and scalds, k eep children awa y . Use ov en mitts or other protection when handling hot sur faces such as ov en shelves or dishes. Use care when opening the o ven door .

5 Safety and warnings Impor tant sa fety instruc tions Caution. Hot air can blo w from the vent at the top of the oven as part of the oven ’ s c ooling system. Placement of oven shelv es: always position shelves in the desired loc ation while the oven is c ool (before preheating).
6 - + The c ontrol panel Locking the control panel Y ou can lock the control panel to prevent unint ended use (eg children playing with the oven). Doing so will disable the dials and all the buttons.
7 Setting the clock and rst use 1 Ensure the power supply t o the oven is on. 4 Set the time by pressing the scroll buttons. Holding the buttons do wn will speed up the scrolling. 5 Press the select button to confirm. The clock indicator will soon disappear but the clock is now set.
8 - + Using y our ov en 1 Slide in the shelves you will need , making sure that: they are between the two wires of a shelf position the stop notches point down the guard rail is at the back. Note: the grill tray should be positioned on the sliding shelf supports, or between the two wires of a shelf position and orientated as shown.
9 Oven functions Off Selecting this will turn the oven off . Bake This is the traditional method of baking. It is best to bake on only one shelf at a time in this function.
10 Using the r otisserie Note: I f sliding shelf supports have been fitted to shelf position 1, these will need to be remov ed before using the rotisserie. See ‘Care and cleaning ’ for instructions. 1 Prepar e the rotisserie supports. Place the grill tray on the benchtop.
11 Using the r otisserie When you ha ve finished using the rotisserie 1 T urn the oven off . 2 Using oven mitts , carefully disengage the right end of the skewer from the r otisserie drive hole. 3 Slide out the grill tray and place it on a heat-resistant surface.
12 Using the timer Y ou can use the timer at any time, even if y ou are not using the oven. If the time is more than an hour , the display will c ount down in minutes (hr:min). If it is less than an hour , it will count down in sec onds (min:sec). Y ou can set the timer for up to 23 hours 59 minutes.
13 Aut omatic cooking Y ou can set the oven to automatically turn on later , cook for a preset time (cooking time), then automatically turn off at a preset stop time .
14 Aut omatic cooking 7 Set the temperature. When automatic c ooking is set The oven and the lights will stay off , the halos will be unlit, but your o ven is now set for automatic cooking.
15 Baking char t Please note: The settings in the following chart are guidelines only . F ollow the instructions in your recipe or on food packaging and be prepared to adjust the o ven settings and baking times to achieve the best possible results for y ou.
16 User pr eferenc e settings Y ou can set your oven to: display the temperature in deg rees Celsius or F ahrenheit give audio feedback (t ones and beeps) or operate quietly display time as 12-hr or 24-hr operate with the display off have its lights on or off during cooking operate in Sabbath setting (see ‘Sabbath setting’ following).
17 User pr eferenc e settings 5 Press the right scr oll button to scroll through the options for that particular setting. Ref er to the table below . 6a Press the select button to sav e the new option . 6b F or all options except ‘Display off ’ : press the cancel button to quit the user prefer ence menu.
18 Sabbath setting This setting is designed for r eligious faiths that observe a ‘no work’ requirement on the Sabbath. While your o ven is in Sabbath setting The display , dial halos and indicators will be unlit, the buttons will be unr esponsive.
19 Sabbath setting The display , indicators and dial halos will be unlit and unr esponsive, but the ov en will bake until you quit Sabbath setting. T o quit Sabbath setting Press and hold the canc el button until the time of day appears in the display and the oven turns off .
20 Manual cleaning Car e and cleaning DOs DON’ T s Before any manual cleaning or maintenance, first w ait for the oven to c ool down to a safe temperature to touch, then turn its power supply off at the w all. Read these cleaning instructions and the ‘Safet y and w arnings’ section before you start cleaning your oven.
21 Manual cleaning Car e and cleaning What? How ? Impor tant! Stainless steel strip on the front of the oven door Clean with a solution of mild detergent and hot water , then wipe dry with a microfibre cloth. If necessar y , use a suitable stainless steel cleaner and polish.
22 Car e and cleaning Removing and replacing the side r acks Use a flat-head screwdriv er or a small coin to loosen the fixing screws. When replacing the side racks, make sur e that you tighten the fixing screw s.
23 Car e and cleaning Removing and replacing the door glass panes f or cleaning M ake sure y ou follow the precautions and instructions below very carefully . Replacing the glass panes and the door incorrectly may result in damage to the o ven and may void y our warranty.
24 Car e and cleaning Remove the inner and middle glass panes (thr ee in total) 3 Gently close the door until the left and right hinge levers are hooked to the door . 1 Press do wn on both tabs ( 1 ) to release the glass retainer ( 2 ). 5a Lift the door and disengage the hinges.
25 Car e and cleaning 3 Slide the first middle pane (C) slightly towards y ourself ( 1 ), then lift ( 2 ) and slide out ( 3 ). 1 T ake either one of the middle panes (B or C) and hold it firmly . Insert it in the lowest pair of groov es ( 1 ), push it slightly towards yourself ( 2 ) and gently lower into place ( 3 ).
26 Car e and cleaning 3 2 1 3 1 2 3 2 T ake the other middle pane and hold it firmly . Insert it in the next pair of grooves ( 1 ), push it slightly towards y ourself ( 2 ) and gently lower into place ( 3 ). 3 T ake the inner pane (D ), holding it with the angle -cut corner orientated as shown.
27 Car e and cleaning 4 Position the glass r etainer , as shown. It should sit on the bottom edge of the outer glass (A ). Check that the clamps of the glass retainer are not def ormed or damaged. 5 Gently push the glass retainer back into place . Y ou should be able to hear the tabs on both sides click as they lock the glass retainer in.
28 Car e and cleaning Refit the door 1 Hold the door firmly . 3 Open the door to its full extent. 2 Inser t the hinge tongues into the slots , making sure that the notches on both sides drop into place as sho wn. 4a F ully close the levers on the left and right hinges, as shown.
29 Car e and cleaning Replacing the oven light bulbs The oven light bulbs (12V/20 W halogen) ha ve a very long life, but if you should need to r eplace one, use only a replac ement bulb purchased from your near est Fisher & P aykel dealer and follo w these steps.
30 Using the Self Clean function This conv enient pyrolytic Self Clean function takes care of the mess and grime that is traditionally associated with oven cleaning . The extremely high temperature during a Self Clean cycle burns off and breaks down stubborn soil and grease deposits .
31 Using the Self Clean function 3 Select the Self Clean func tion. The display will flash 3 : 00 , indicating the duration of a Self Clean cycle (3 hours). The temperature indicat or will be blank, as temperature cannot be adjusted . 4 Once the display is flashing 3 : 00 , press the select button to star t the Self Clean cycle.
32 Using the Self Clean function When a Self Clean cycle has finished The oven will: emit a long tone automatically turn off automatically unlock the door .
33 T roubleshooting T r oubleshooting char t If there is a problem, check the chart below to see if you can fix it. If the problem cannot be fixed or persists, call your A uthorised Repairer or Customer C are. Problem P ossible causes What t o do General The ov en does not work.
34 T roubleshooting Problem P ossible causes What t o do General The ov en has reached the set temperature but the temperature dial halo is still red (indicating that the oven is not r eady to use). This is normal: when heating up from cold, y our oven is designed to initially heat to a temperature somewhat higher than what you have set.
35 T roubleshooting Problem P ossible causes What t o do Self Clean function During a Self Clean cycle, the ov en is louder than usual. This is normal: the oven ’ s cooling fans operate at their highest speed. The display sho ws door . The door has not been properly closed.
36 Aler t codes If there is a problem, the oven will: automatically suspend all oven functions beep five times display an alert code. Impor tant! Do not turn off the mains power supply to the oven (w all switch) if you get an alert code, unless the instructions in the char t following specific ally instruct you to.
37 Aler t codes Alert code Possible causes What to do The oven has o verheated. 1 Allow the oven t o cool down. 2 If the door is locked, wait until it automatically unlocks. 3 Once the oven has c ooled down and the door has unlocked, the alert code will disappear .
38 W arr anty and ser vice Before y ou call for service or assistance ... Check the things you can do yourself . Refer t o the installation instructions and your user guide and check that: 1 your product is correctly installed. 2 you are familiar with its normal operation.
