9 Installation instructions Final checklist TO BE C OMPLETED BY THE INST ALLER Make sure the oven is lev el and securely fitted to the cabinetry . Check the lower trim is still undamaged. Open the oven door slowly to its fully open position and check if there is adequate clearance between the bottom of the door and the lower trim.
10 Introduction Congratulations on your new pur chase. Y our Fisher & P aykel multifunc tion ov en has a number of features t o make cooking a great experience for you: a choice of nine oven funct.

12 Setting the clock and rst use 1 Ensure the power supply t o the oven is on. 4 Set the time by pressing the scroll buttons. Holding the buttons do wn will speed up the scrolling. 5 Press the select button to confirm. The clock indicator will soon disappear but the clock is now set.
13 Using y our ov en - + 3 Adjust the temperature . While the oven is heating up , the halo will glow red and the temperatur e indicator will alternately show the actual and set temperatures. When the oven has reached the set temperature, a long t one will sound and the halo will turn white.
14 Oven functions Off Selecting this will turn the oven off . Bake This is the traditional method of baking. It is best to bake on only one shelf at a time in this function.
15 Oven functions Using the fat filter Use the fat filter only when roasting meat and poultry on F an Bake , F an Grill or Fa n Fo r ce d . It helps to keep your oven clean and reduces splatter and smoking. Clean the fat filter after every use. See ‘Care and cleaning ’ .
16 Using the timer Y ou can use the timer at any time, even if you ar e not using the oven. If the time is more than an hour , the display will count down in minutes (hr:min). If it is less than an hour , it will count down in seconds (min:sec). Y ou can set the timer for up to 23 hours 59 minutes.
17 Aut omatic cooking Y ou can set the oven to automatically turn on later , cook for a preset time (c ooking time), then automatically turn off at a preset stop time .
18 Aut omatic cooking 7 Adjust the temperature . When automatic c ooking is set The oven and the lights will sta y off, the halos will be unlit, but y our oven is now set f or automatic cooking.
19 Baking char t Please note: The settings in the following chart are guidelines only . Follow the instructions in your r ecipe or on food packaging and be prepared to adjust the o ven settings and baking times to achieve the best possible results for y ou.
20 User pr eferenc e settings Y ou can set your oven to: display the temperature in deg rees Celsius or F ahrenheit give audio feedback (t ones and beeps) or operate quietly display time as 12-hr or 24-hr operate with the display off have its lights on or off operate in Sabbath setting (see ‘Sabbath setting’ following).
21 User pr eference settings 5 Press the right scr oll button to scroll through the options for that particular setting. Ref er to the table below . 6a Press the select button to save the new option . 6b F or all options except ‘Display off ’ : press the cancel button to quit the user prefer ence menu.
22 Sabbath setting This setting is designed for r eligious faiths that observe a ‘no work’ requirement on the Sabbath. While your o ven is in Sabbath setting The display , dial halos and indicators will be unlit, the buttons will be unresponsive .
23 Sabbath setting The display , indicators and dial halos will be unlit and unresponsive, but the o ven will bake until you quit Sabbath setting. T o quit Sabbath setting Press and hold the canc el button until the time of day appears in the display and the oven turns off .
24 Car e and cleaning DOs DON’ T s Before any manual cleaning or maintenance, first w a it for the ov en to cool down to a safe temperature to touch, then disconnect it from the power supply . Read these cleaning instructions and the ‘Safet y and w arnings’ section before you start cleaning your oven.
25 Car e and cleaning What? How ? Impor tant! Oven cavity T o clean light soiling off the enamelled sur faces: 1 W ipe with a damp cloth and a solution of hot water and mild detergent.
26 Car e and cleaning What? How ? Impor tant! Side catalytic panels If you roast or grill a lot of meat and hardly ever bake , heating an empty oven f or 60-90 mins at 250 o C on Bake from time to time will help the panels to break down an y greasy soiling.
27 Car e and cleaning Removing and refitting the side racks and catalytic panels Use a flat-head screwdriv er or a small coin to loosen the fixing screw s. When refitting the side racks, make sure that they are the right way up , as in the illustrations, and that you tighten the fixing screws .

29 Car e and cleaning Removing and refitting the glass panes of the o ven door Impor tant! The outer pane is not removable . T ake care, the glass panes are heavy . Place the removed glass panes on a safe, soft surface. T o remove the glass panes 1 Open the door fully .
30 Car e and cleaning 1 2 5 Slide out the inner pane. 6 Slide the middle pane up slightly to unhook it from the bottom clamps. 7 Lift out the bottom edge and remov e.
31 Car e and cleaning 2 Check the rubber pads are in place . 3 Check the pane is the right way up . 1 Make sure the open lev ers firmly hook to the door . T o refit the glass panes Rubber pads 1 4 Inser t the pane into top clamps then lower and slide into bott om clamps.
32 Car e and cleaning 7 Inser t the pane into the slide guides and slide it to the bottom retainers . F Slide guides 8 Replace the seal. Seal Bottom retainers 9 Open the door fully and close the levers.
33 Car e and cleaning Removing and refitting the o ven door Impor tant! T ake care, the ov en door is heavy! T o remove the door 1 Open the door fully . 3 Hold the door . 5 Disengage the hinges and remov e the door . 2 Open the levers. 4 Close the door until the levers hook to it.
34 1 2 Car e and cleaning Replacing the oven light bulbs Note: oven bulb r eplacement is not cover ed by your warranty . 1 Let the ov en cavity and the grill element cool down. 2 Impor tant! Disconnect the oven from the pow er supply before continuing .

36 T roubleshooting Problem P ossible causes What to do The ov en has reached the set temperature but the temperature dial halo is still red. This is normal: when heating up from cold , your oven is designed t o initially heat to a temperature somewhat higher than what y ou have set.
37 Aler t codes If there is a problem, the oven will: automatically suspend all oven functions beep five times display an alert code. Impor tant! Do not turn off the mains power supply to the oven if y ou get an aler t code , unless the instructions in the chart following specifically instruct you to.
