9 Installation instruc tions F inal check list TO BE C OMPLETED BY THE INST ALLER Make sure the ov en is level and securely fitted to the cabinetry . Check the lower trim is still undamaged . Open the oven door slo wly to its fully open position and check if there is adequate clearance between the bottom of the door and the low er trim.

12 Setting the clock and rst use 1 Ensure the pow er supply to the oven is on. 4 Set the time by pressing the scr oll buttons. Holding the butt ons down will speed up the scrolling . 5 Pr ess the selec t button to confirm. The clock indicator will soon disappear but the clock is now set.
13 Using y our ov en - + 3 Adjust the temperatur e. While the oven is heating up , the halo will glow red and the t emperature indicator will alternately sho w the actual and set temperatures. When the oven has r eached the set temperature , a long tone will sound and the halo will turn white.
14 Oven func tions Off Selecting this will turn the oven off . Bak e This is the traditional method of baking. It is best to bake on only one shelf at a time in this function.
15 Using the timer Y ou can use the timer at any time, even if y ou are not using the oven. If the time is more than an hour , the display will count down in minutes (hr:min). If it is less than an hour , it will count down in seconds (min:sec). Y ou can set the timer for up to 23 hours 59 minutes.
16 A utomatic cooking Y ou can set the oven to automatically turn on later , cook for a preset time (cooking time), then automatically turn off at a preset st op time.
17 A utomatic cooking 7 Adjust the temperatur e. When automatic c ook ing is set The oven and the light will sta y off, the halos will be unlit, but y our oven is now set f or automatic cooking.
18 Bak ing char t Please note: The settings in the follo wing char t are guidelines only . Follow the instructions in your r ecipe or on food packaging and be prepar ed to adjust the oven settings and baking times to achieve the best possible results f or you.
19 Y ou can set your oven to: display the temperatur e in degrees Celsius or F ahrenheit give audio f eedback (tones and beeps) or operate quietly display time as 12-hr or 24-hr operate with the display off have its light on or off during c ook ing operate in Sabbath setting (see ‘Sabbath setting’ following).
20 User pr efer ence settings 5 Pr ess the right scroll button to scroll through the options f or that par ticular setting. Ref er to the table below . 6a Pr ess the selec t button to sav e the new option . 6b F or all options except ‘Display off ’ : press the cancel button t o quit the user pref erence menu.
21 Sabbath setting This setting is designed f or religious faiths that obser ve a ‘ no work ’ requir ement on the Sabbath. While y our oven is in Sabbath setting The display , dial halos and indicators will be unlit, the buttons will be unresponsiv e.
22 Sabbath setting The display , indicators and dial halos will be unlit and unresponsive , but the oven will bake until you quit Sabbath setting . T o quit Sabbath setting Pr ess and hold the cancel button until the time of day appears in the display and the ov en turns off .
23 Car e and cleaning Manual cleaning DOs DON’ T s Before any manu al cleaning or maintenance , first wait for the oven to c ool down to a safe temperature to touch, then disconnect it from the power supply . Read these cleaning instructions and the ‘Safet y and warnings ’ sec tion before you star t cleaning your ov en.
24 Manual cleaning Car e and cleaning What? H ow? Impor tant! Stainless steel strip on the front of the oven door and the control panel Clean with a solution of mild detergent and hot water , then wipe dr y with a microfibr e cloth. If necessar y , use a suitable stainless steel cleaner and polish.
25 Car e and cleaning Removing and refitting the side r acks Use a flat-head screw driver or a small coin to loosen the fixing screw s in the front. When refitting the side racks, make sur e that they are the right way up , as in the illustrations, and that you tighten the fixing scr ews.

Disconnect the oven from the po wer supply before continuing . 3 Release the lamp cov er by pulling the tab on its left side towards you .
29 Using the Self Clean function This con venient pyrolytic Self Clean function takes care of the mess and grime that is traditionally associated with ov en cleaning. The extremely high temperature during a Self Clean cycle burns off and breaks down stubborn soil and gr ease deposits.
30 Using the Self Clean function 4 Select the S elf Clean function. The display will flash 3 : 00 , indicating the duration of a Self Clean cycle (3 hours). The temperatur e indicator will be blank , as temperature cannot be adjust ed. 5 Once the display is flashing 3 : 00 , pr ess the select button to star t the Self Clean c ycle .
31 Using the Self Clean function When a Self Clean cycle has finished The ov en will: emit a long tone automatically turn off automatically unlock the door .

34 T roubleshooting Pr oblem P ossible causes What t o do Self Clean function During a Self Clean cycle, the o ven is louder than usual. This is normal: the ov en’ s cooling fans operate at their highest speed. The displa y shows door . The door has not been properly closed.
35 Aler t codes If there is a problem, the ov en will: automatically suspend all ov en func tions beep five times display an alert code. Impor tant! Do not turn off the mains power supply to the ov en if you get an aler t code, unless the instructions in the char t following specific ally instruc t you to .
