3 Safety and warnings Y our DishDra wer has been carefully designed to operate saf ely during normal dishwashing procedur es. Please keep the following guidelines in mind when y ou are using your DishDrawer®. Please r ead all instruc tions befor e operating the DishDrawer®.

5 Safety and warnings Impor tant sa fety precautions Impor tant! Under no circumstances should you open the dr awer whilst the DishDrawer® is in oper ation. Operational Always press the button to pause and wait until y ou hear the three additional beeps before opening the draw er .
6 C ontrols (Integrated and P refinished - no L CD) If you have a double DishDra wer®, each drawer has its own c ontrols and can run independently of the other . P ower butt on The button turns the DishDraw er® on or off. Opening the drawer will aut omatically turn the DishDrawer® on for 30 seconds.
7 C ontrols (Integrated and P refinished - no L CD) Childlock The Childlock featur e locks the drawer and disables all the buttons on the integ rated badge. T o activate, pr ess and hold the / button until you hear two beeps (5 seconds). The light above the / button is lit when Childlock is ac tivated.
8 C ontrols (Pr efinished models with L CD) If you have a double DishDra wer®, each drawer has its own c ontrol panel and can run independently of the other . P ower Butt on The button turns the DishDraw er® on or off. Opening the dra wer will automatically turn the DishDrawer® on f or 30 seconds.
9 Keylock The Keylock featur e disables all the buttons on the control panel. T o activate, pr ess and hold the button until you hear one beep (3 seconds). The symbol appears in the electronic display when the Keylock featur e is ac tivated. Childlock The Childlock featur e locks the drawer and disables all the buttons on the contr ol panel.

11 W ash progr amme char t W ash Programme - when t o use Heav y Heavily soiled pots, pans and dishes. Normal Dishes with normal soils for optimum wash and dry per formance . Fa s t Lightly soiled dishes. Delicate Lightly soiled and heat sensitive crock er y .
12 Caring f or your dinnerware The combination of high temperatur es and dishwasher detergent ma y cause damage to some items if they are washed in the DishDra wer®. Remember , if in any doubt about any aspect concerning items washed in the DishDra wer®, follow the instructions from the manufacturer of the items, or wash the it em by hand.
13 Dish washer standards t est The DishDraw er®s are tested to AS/NZS 2007 standar ds for both wash and dr y per formance . The follo wing are loading pattern diagrams, det ergent quantities and rinse aid quantities used for the DishDraw er®.
14 c d a b A ccessories The inserts and racks can be added or removed to suit your individual needs. If you ha ve the double DishDrawer® model , some of the accessories are interchangeable between the two dra wers.
15 A ccessories Cup r acks Cups , glasses and k itchen utensils can be placed on the left and right hand side of the cup racks. F or best per formance ensure ther e are no large items below , block ing the wash water from reaching the cup racks. Wine glasses can be supported on the cup racks if used in conjunction with the Mega rack .
16 Loading W ash water for the DishDraw er® comes from the spray arm which is situated inside the base of the drawer . The spray arm rotates , providing wash water to all ar eas of the wash compar tment so care needs to be taken when loading dishes to ensur e there is enough space for the water t o reach all areas , par ticularly the cup racks.
17 Loading How NO T to load your DishDra wer® Overcro wded and wash water will not reach some of the dinnerware. Cups , glasses and bowls must have their openings facing downwar ds. The plates ar e nesting together and wash water may not get thr ough.
18 Deter gent dispenser Impor tant! Only use powdered detergent rec ommended for domestic automatic dishwashers in the detergent dispenser . Dishw asher detergents are strongly alkaline and c an be dangerous if swallowed . A void contact with skin and eyes.
19 Deter gent dispenser Detergent quantities The detergent quantities r ecommended below are f or individual drawers. W ash programmes Detergent quantities prewash (g)* main wash (g)* Heavy 5 15 Normal 15 Delicate F ast 5 5 * 5g equates to appro ximately 1 teaspoon, 15g equates to appr oximately 1 tablespoon.
20 Rinse aid dispenser W e highly recommend the regular use of liquid rinse aid t o give the best drying results. Rinse aid gives a str eak free, sparkling clean look to glass and chinaware . In addition it prevents metal from tarnishing . The rinse aid dispenser is on the inside of the drawer , located underneath the detergent dispenser .
21 User pr efer ence settings The follo wing settings can be adjusted to suit your pref erences . Rinse Aid setting Reduce the Rinse Aid setting if there is exc ess foam after a wash programme . Increase the Rinse Aid setting if dishes are wet or streaky after a wash programme .

24 Car e and cleaning Cleaning the sur faces Impor tant! W e do not recommend the use of the following cleaning aids on y our DishDrawer® as they may damage the sur faces: Plastic or stainless steel .
25 Car e and cleaning Cleaning the drain filter , spray arm and filter plat e W e recommend that the drain filter is cleaned whenever there is evidenc e of food par ticles. The spray arm and filter plat e may need cleaning about once a month in normal use or more often should the need arise.

Lif t from the back end first to prev ent k nock ing the detergent and rinse aid dispenser .
27 T roubleshooting Pr oblem P ossible Cause What to do Unclean dishes W ash programme unsuitable for the load . Refer to the wash pr ogramme section for a suitable wash programme , or the soils were too heavily baked on and dishes ma y need soaking. Spray arm unable to r otate.

29 F ault c odes How to r ecognise a fault code When a fault has occurred , the DishDrawer® will continuously beep every second. The fault code will be display ed on the electronic display for prefinished models and on the wash programme selector for int egrated models.

32 W arranty and ser vice Befor e you call for service or assistance ... Check the things you can do yourself . Refer to the installation instructions and your user guide and check that: 1 Y our pr oduc t is correctly installed. 2 Y ou ar e familiar with its normal operation.
