3 PRODUCT FEA TURES The purpose of this booklet is to provide assem bl y, installation and operat ion inf or mation concerning Allstar Residential Garage Door O peners and related Accessory Products. NOTICE IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THIS INSTRUCTION MANUAL BE READ AND UNDERSTOOD COMPLETELY BEFORE INSTALLATION OR OPERATION IS ATTEMPTED.

5 NOTE: The Tee Rail/Chain Assembly is pac kaged separately from t he Power Unit. The Inner Trolley half, Front I dler Sprocket, Chain, Restraining Device and Limit Cams are assembled on the Tee Rail at the factory. Follow the steps outlined below to complete assembly prior to installation.

8 HIGH ARC RISE HIGH ARC RISE HORIZONTAL LINE 4 INCHES 6 INCHES 4 TO 8 INCHES 11 INCHES 8 TO 12 INCHES 16 INCHES STEP 1A: Mounting the Front Brack et — One Piece Doors Without Trac k: Mark a vertical centerline on the header abo v e the door. Manually raise the door to its high arc position and tem po rarily clamp in that position.
9 C: INST A LLING THE OPER A T OR STEP 2: Raise the T ee Rail so that the Front Idler Bracket and Front Mounting Bracket align. I nsert bolt and tighten nut loosely for now.

12 DISCONNECT POWER AT FUSE BOX AN D OPENER BEFORE WIRING PERM A NENTLY TO PREVENT ELECTROCUTION. WARNING IMPROPER WIRING COULD CAUSE ELECTROCUTION OR DAMAGE TO CIRCUITRY. FOLLOW LOCAL BUILDING AND WARNING STEP 9: Consult t he label on the rear panel of the Opener to determin e its proper working voltage.
13 INSTA LLATION OF ALL -CLEAR PHOTOSYSTE M: STEP 1: Mark the position of the ALL- CLEAR™ Photosystem as follows : Mark a line on the l eft and rig h t door jamb (c lose to the door track ) FOUR (4) inches AND SIX (6) inches abov e the floor.
14 STEP 4 : Final Installation A. Attach the" U " brackets to the "L" brac kets with a 1/4-20 car riage bolt, washer and hex nut (pro vided). Insert the bolt from the inside of the "U" bracket and hand tighten only at th is time.

Setting The Coding Switc hes: When setting the Coding S w itches THE FACTORY PRE-SET CODES MUST BE CHANGED TO PREVENT UNAUTHORIZED OPERATION.
16 D: AU X I L I ARY E Q U I P M E N T INSTA LLATION OF DELUXE WA LL STA TI ON The Allstar Plus Deluxe Wall Station is an optional accessory designed to w or k with an y Allstar 3000 Series Operator. Connection to any other operator m a y damage the operator and/or Wall Station.

18 STEP 2: Adjusting the Sensitivity Force — Sensitivit y System fo rc e adjustment screws are located on the side rails of the Pow er Unit and can ea sily be adjusted with a screw dri ver. Turn the screws CLOCKWISE for more force and COUNTERCLOCKWISE for le ss forc e.

22 BEFORE PLACING DOOR OPERATOR IN REGULAR SERVICE, MAKE SURE THAT: 1. THE FRONT AND REAR MOUNTS FOR THE OPENER ARE SOUND AND SECURE AND T HE RAIL IS POSITIONED CORRECTLY A BOVE THE HIGH ARC OF THE DOOR, AND THA T THE OPENER IS POSITIONED OVER THE DOOR ACTION CENTERLINE.
