$ C ONNECTING$T O$A$ MIDI $S OUND$ M ODUL E$ $ $ To connect to a MIDI sound module, connect one end of the MIDI cable to the MIDI Out p ort on t he g uita r, and the other end of the cabl e to the MIDI In port o n a sound module. Audio output will be provided by the sound module.
E XTERNAL$ P ED AL$ F UNCTIONAL ITY$ $ The pedal jack suppo rts an optional analog Ex pression Pedal and/ or digi tal St omp Switch. The analog expressi on pedal has three avail able functi ons – Expres sion, Cha nnel Volume, and Modulation. To change pedal function, pr ess the approp riate button on the directional pad.
U NDERSTANDING$THE$ C ONTROLS$ $ C HANGE O CTAVE Incrementing or decremen ting octave adds or subtracts 12 to the cu rrent MIDI note value. A maximum of 4 changes can be made to t he octave in eit her dire ction f rom the default. Any notes that fall out of the MIDI note range of 0 – 127 will assu me the value of either 0 or 127 res pectively.
A CCELEROMETER$ $ Rotational motion of t he guitar can activate cer tain MIDI funct ions. To t oggle these functions, the correct butto n comb ination mus t be pressed .
