DVI 104 Tx/Rx • User’ s Guide 1 Description The DVI 104 Tx and DVI 104 Rx are ber optic transmitter/ receiver units that extend DVI signals up to 1,640' (500 m) using four multi-mode ber optics cables. The transmitter plugs directly into the sour ce device and the receiver plugs dir ectly into the display device.

DVI 104 Tx/Rx • User’ s Guide 3 b LC Jacks — Four ber optic cables connect the transmitter to the receiver . The cables connect to the four female LC jacks in each of the units. A label on the top panel identies the unit as the transmitter or receiver and identies the ber optic port numbers and the power input.

Ensure that the display device is still power ed on, connect the receiver dir ectly to the DVI input, and tighten the thumbscrews.
