Operation Choke Control (All Units Except Kohler EFI) Located on right console (black lev er) (see Figure 6). The c hoke is used to aid in star ting a cold engine . Moving the chok e lev er forward will put the chok e in the “ON” position and mo ving the c hoke lever to the rear , to the detent, will put the c hoke in the “OFF” position.

Hour/V oltage display The hour meter is recording when the decimal point is ashing in Hour/V oltage display . Hours are displa yed when the key is off or when the machine is r unning .
Operation Note: The handle must be horizontal and against the stop for operation. Do Not tow machine. PTO Engagement Switch Located on right console (see Figure 6). Switch must be pulled out (up) to engage the blades . Switch is pushed in to diseng age the blades .

Operating Instructions Raise the Rollover Protection System (ROPS) Important: The roll bar is an integral and effective safety device. Keep the roll bar in the raised and lock ed position when operating the mower .

Maintenance C. Apply lubricant to threads of blade bolt to prevent seizing . Copper-based anti-seize preferable. Grease acceptable substitute . Install blade bolt nger tight. Place wrench on the top spindle n ut then torque the blade bolts to 50-60 ft-lb (68-81 N-m).
