T o reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way . If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet.
5 HOW TO USE The lightweight vacuum cleaner is designed to be used for quick, convenient, and easy cleanups. Moving the nozzle over carpeting, rugs, or upholstery provides suction and bristle agitation to clean dirt, lint, and threads from surfaces.

7 HOW TO MAINT AIN The instructions given in this booklet serve as a guide to routine maintenance. Keep the vacuum cleaner at top operating efficiency . Clean the filter and empty the dust container regularly . If the dust container is visibly full before finished cleaning, empty as needed.
12 Ask for GENUINE EUREKA replacement belt, No. 53819. Pull back on the release lever and gently pry the nozzle cover from both sides of the housing. Place vacuum cleaner so nozzle opening is in view . Loosen the screw and pry off the belt view cover to remove belt from motor pulley .
