T o reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way . If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet.

8 HOW T O MAINT AIN The instructions given in this booklet serve as a guide to routine maintenance. To avoid unnecessary service calls, check the hose, bag and filter often. Clear a clogged hose with the blower, change the bag if it is full, and clean the motor filter when it is dirty.
Changing/Cleaning the Filters The filters play a very important role in the efficiency of the vacuum cleaner. If the filters become clogged, no air can pass through the cleaner and no cleaning takes place regardless of how powerful the unit. To keep the cleaner operating at maximum efficiency, check the filters frequently and clean when necessary.
