2 IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS READ BEFORE USING YOUR HUMIDIFIER 1. This appliance has a po larized plug (one bl ade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is in tended to fit into a polarized 120-volt AC, 15 amp outlet, and only one way.
3 ASSEMBLY UNPACKING AND SETTING UP THE UNIT 1. Remove the two inserts from the top of the humidifier. 2. Lift off the water bottle co vers. Remove the water bottles, lift off the chassis/power pack and then remove the humidif ier cabinet from the carton.
4 Fa n Speed Humidity Cont rol Pow er CAUTION: When filling, be careful not to pressurize the bottle by overfillin g it. Bottle damage can result from this, and will not drain prop erly. NOTE: On initial fill up, it will take approximately 20 minutes for the reservoir to fill because the dry wick has to absorb water.
5 We recommend replacing the AirCare® filter at least once a year and more often if necessary. When the white filter media is coat ed with a layer of dust and dirt, it is time to replace the AirCare® filter. The cert ified water output of your humidifier will be reduced when using the AirC are® filter.

9 FUNCIONAMIENTO DE SU HUMIDIFI CADOR ENSAMBLAJE CÓMO DESEMPAQUETAR E INSTALAR LA UNIDAD 1. Retirar los dos insertos de la parte superior d el humidificador. 2. Levantar las tapas de la botella de agua. Sacar las botellas de agua, levantar y sacar el chasis/unidad de fuerza y d espués sacar el gabinete del h umidificador de la caja.
10 OBSERVACIÓN: Para obtener un tiempo de funcionamient o ideal, llenar la botella d e agua, apretar la tapa y colocarla de ntro de la unidad. No llenar el r ecipiente del depósito, porqu e si se recarga demasiado, el agua prov ocará daños. Usar solamente las bot ellas que vienen con el equipo.
11 FILTRO OPCIONAL A IRC ARE® El filtro opcional Aircare® es un a excelent e manera de limpiar el aire mientras utiliza el humidificador. La primera etapa del filtro de aire es un filtro electrostá tico de alta eficiencia, qu e atrapa polvo, polen y contaminantes del aire .
