T o remove the IF Filter board from the radi o: 1. Remove the eight screws (E) holding the IF Filter bottom cov er . 2. Remove the six scre ws (F) holding the IF Filter top cover . 3. R e move the th ree screws (G) and the C onnector (H ), and care fully pus h do wn on the top of t he boar d to a void dama gi n g t he f ee dthrough ca pa cito rs .
FR ONT END ALIGNMENT EQUIPMENT REQUIRED 1. T est Set Mode ls 4EX3A11, 4EX8K12, or 20,000 ohms-per-V olt multimete r with a 1 V olt scale. 2. A 406-512 MHz signa l source. PRELIMIN AR Y CHECKS AND ADJUSTMENT S 1. Connect blac k plug from T est Set to Rece iver Centralized Met ering Jack J601, and red plug to system board met ering jack J905.
406-512 MHz MASTR II RECEIVER ICOM FREQ UENCY ADJUSTMENT First, check the frequency to determine if any adjustment is required. The frequency meas urement requires equipment with an absolute accurac y which is 5 to 10 times better than the tolerance to be maintained.
