12 Using Y our Eos Sy stem Base Station Opera tion Using Eos with y our iPod: Selecting the correct universal iPod docking adapter Universal adapters pr ovide support for your iP od while in the dock . An assor tment of adapters has been pro vided for older generation iP ods.
13 Using Y our Eos Sy stem Connecting an External Audio Sourc e: The Eos Wir eless Audio Sy stem allows y ou to connect and play audio from an external source like a c omputer , MP3 player , radio, CD play er or other audio device with a head- phone jack or analog audio output.
14 Muting the Base Station Speakers: The MUTE button, locat ed on the Eos Base Station, allows y ou to mute the Base Station speakers. When the speaker to the base unit is muted , the blue LED source indicat or light (iP od or Aux) will ash.
15 Using Y our Eos Sy stem W ireless Speakers/Rec eivers: All Eos Base Stations , Wireless Speakers and Receiv ers have the same ID setting . This is done so Speakers/Receivers will automa tically link with any Base Station. The Base Station will link with the rst 4 Wireless Speakers that it det ects.
16 Setting a Unique ID: T o give y our Base Station and Speakers/Receivers a Unique ID do the f ollowing: 1. Disconnect the power supply from the Base S tation 2. Usingthe V olumeContr olSwitch,turnoallpow ertothe WirelessSpeakers/Re - ceivers that y ou wish to link .
17 Using Y our Eos Sy stem Resetting the ID to Default: T o reset the Base Station and Speaker/Receiv er ’ s ID back to the factor y default, do the following: 1. Disconnect the power supply from the Base S tation 2. Usingthe VolumeC ontrolSwit ch,turnoallpowertothe WirelessSpeakers/Receivers .

20 Using Y our Eos Sy stem Removing the Integr ated Po wer Supply F rom the Wireless Speak er: T o use your Wir eless Speaker on a desktop/bookshelf , remove the pow er supply from the wireless speaker by f ollowing these steps: 1. Pr ess down on the top of the pow er supply.
