This heater is equipped with a PILOT LIGHT (OXYGEN DEPLETION SENSOR) S AFETY SYSTEM designed to turn off the unit if there is not sufficient fresh air available. If the appliance keeps shutting off, have it serviced. DO NOT TAMPER WITH THE PILOT LIGHT (ODS) SAFE TY SYSTEM! Keep the burner and control compartment clean.

MAIN BURNER IGNITION 1) Upon lighting, release knob and turn further counterclockwise ← to “ON” position (both pilot and gas flow). 2) Turn on all electric powe r to applia nce. 3) Set thermostat to desired setting. 4) To turn off the gas to the main burner only, turn gas control clockwise → to pilot.
