3 T ools Needed for Assembly One Phillips head screwdriver One wire stripper Six wire connectors (supplied) Three 60-watt (max.) candelabra base bulbs Materials Wiring, outlet box and box connectors must be of type required by the local code.
Preset Memory Feature Y our remote control receiver is equipped with a preset memory feature. The receiv- er will remember the light intensity and fan speed when the light and fan are turned off from the wall switch. When the wall switch is turned back on, the lights and fan will resume operation as they were prior to the switch being turned off.
2. Slide the four switch levers on the code switch to your choice of ON (up) or down positions. Use a ball-point pen or small screwdriver and slide the levers firmly up or down. 3. In the receiver (Figure 1), slide the four switch levers to the same positions as set in the transmitter .
6 It is critical that the clevis pin in the motor coupling is properly installed and the setscrews securely tight- ened. Failure to verify that the pin and setscrews are properly installed (as shown in Figure 3) could result in the fan falling. ! 7 8. T urn the fan motor and housing assem- bly upside down in preparation for mounting the fan blade assemblies. Remove and discard the three shipping retainers securing the motor hub in the motor housing. NOTE: T ake care not to scratch the fan housing when installing the blade assemblies.
2. Carefully lift the fan and seat the hang- er ball/downrod assembly on the hang- er bracket that was just attached to the outlet box (Figure 1 1). Be sure the groove in the ball is lined up with the tab on the hanger bracket (Figure 10).
9 1. Position the supply wires to the left side of the outlet box (Figure 12); position the fan wires to the right side. Partially insert the remote control receiver (flat side up) until one end rests on the hanger ball as shown in Figure 12. NOTE: Make all wiring connections using wire connectors (supplied).
7. Screw three 60-watt (maximum) cande- labra base flame bulbs into the light fitter sockets (Figure 15). 8. Unscrew the six ring screws from the lower ring assembly (Figure 15). Position the lower glass in the lower ring assembly so that the six channels in the glass align with the six arms of the lower ring assembly .
