Chapter 2 –Installation Unp acking the T ouchmonitor Open the carton and verify the following items are present: T ouchmonit or with protective sheet for its face Elo T ouchT ools CD & U.
Inst alling the T ouch T echnology Sof tware Drivers Some software inst allation is required for your touchmonitor to work with your computer . The drivers for the Windows 7, XP , V ista, W e POS, and 32-bit Server 2003 and 2008 operating systems are provided with y our touchmonitor on a CD.
For Windows XP , Vist a, Server 2003, Server 2008, and WEPOS installations, install the “USB T ouchscreen Drivers” when prompted: For Windows 7 installations, check t he “Install driver” box under “Elo USB Interfaces – Other T ouchscreens” After accepting the end-user licen se agreement, the drivers will finish installing.

Chapter 3 – Mounting General Mounting Information The OSD text can be rotated through the OSD menu to better suit your mounting orientation. Rear VESA Mount A four-hole 75x75mm mounting pattern for M4 screw s is provided on the rear of the monitor .

Select “Match T ouch to Display…” to calibrate multiple monitors. Projected-Cap acitive T ouch T echnology When connected to Windows 7 computers, the touchmonitor can report 2 simult aneous touches. When connected to Windows XP computers, the touchmonitor reports single touches.

Generally , for best performance, an image displayed on this moni tor will look best when your computer ’s output resolution matches this monitor ’s native resolution of 1366x768.

Chapter 6 - Safety & Maintenance Safety T o avoid risk of electric shock, follow all safety notices and do not disasse mble the touchmonitor . They are not user-serviceable. The slots located on the sides and top of the touchmonitor case are for ventilation.
