5 Operating Instructions 1 Safety Electrical Safety • The appliance may only be connected by a qualified electrican / compe- tent person. • In the event of any faults or dam age to the appliance : remove fuses or switch off.
6 T o A void Damaging Y our Appliance • Do not line your oven with aluminium foil a nd do not place a baking tray or dish on the oven floor , otherwise the oven enamel will be damaged by the re sulting build up of heat. • Juice from fruit that drips fr om baking trays will leave marks that cannot be r emoved.

10 Befor e using for the first time Setting the Time 3 The oven will only function if the time is set. The set time function indicator will flash after the appliance has been connected to the mains or following a power failure. Use the + or - buttons to set the current time.
11 Initial Cleaning Befor e using the oven for the first time you should clean it thoroughly . 1 Cautio n: Do not use any caustic, abrasive cleaners! The surf ace could be damaged. 3 T o clean any metal front panel s use commer cially available cleaning agents.
12 Operating the Oven Switching the Oven On and Of f 1. T urn the oven functions switch to the requir ed function. 2. T urn the temperature selection switch to the requir ed temperature. The r ed oven power indicator is illuminated whilst the oven i s in use.
13 Oven Functions The oven has the following functions: L Oven lighting With this function you can illuminate the oven interior e.g. for cleaning. The heating element is not in use. ¥ Fan Oven For roasting and baking on up to thr ee levels simultaneously .
14 Attaching/Removing the Grill Pan Handle The handle is particularly useful for removing the grill pan and tray mor e easily fr om the hot oven. Attaching the handle Insert the handle at an angle from above into the recess in the side of the grill pan (1) lift it gently and then lower it (2) until you hear it click into place.
15 Clock Functions Countdown G T o set a countdown. A signal sounds after the time has elapsed. This function does not affect the operation of the oven. Cook time d T o set how long the oven is to be in use. End time e T o set when the ove n is to switch of f again.
16 3 General information • Once a function has been selected the corr esponding function indicator will flash for approx. 5 seconds. During this time the r equired times can be set using the + or - button. • After the r equir ed time has been set the function indi cator will flash ag ain for approx.

20 Cook time d and End time e combined 3 Cook time d and end time e can be used together if the oven is to switch on and off automatically at a later time . 1. Using the cook time d function set the time re quired for the dish to cook. In this case 1 hour .

22 Usage, T ables and Tips Baking Use the fan ¥ oven function to bake. Baking tins • Metal, glass and ceramic tins ar e suitable for use with the fan oven function ¥ . Shelf p osition • When using the fan oven ¥ func tion you are able to ba ke dry , flat item s on up to 3 baking trays simultaneously .
23 General tips • Be sure to count the shelf positions from bottom to top. • Insert the baking tray so that the slope is at the fr ont. • Always place cake tins in the middle of the shelf. • When using the fan oven ¥ function you ar e also able to bake two tins side by side on a rack simultaneously .

Defr osting dishe s • Put the food on a plate and put the plate on the tray . • Use only parchment pape r or film to cover the food. Do not use plates or dishes as they significantly incre ase the defr osting time.
33 Drying with the Fan Oven Use trays lined with gr easepr oof paper or baki ng paper . Y ou will achieve a better result if you switch the oven of f half way thr ough the drying time. Open and leave to cool, pref erably overnight. Then finish drying the dried food.
34 Cleaning and car e 1 Wa r n i n g : For safety r easons cleaning the appliance with a steam jet cleane r or high-pressur e water cleaner is not permissible ! Exterior of the Appliance • Wipe the front of the appliance with a soft cloth dipped in warm soap y water .
35 Shelf Support Rails The shelf support rails on the left and right hand s ides of the oven can be re- moved for cleaning the si de walls. Removing the shelf support rails First pull the fr ont of the rail away from the oven wall (1) and then unhook at the back (2).
36 Oven Lighting 1 Wa r n i n g : Risk of electric shock! 37 Oven Door The oven door of your appliance may be removed for cleaning. Removing the oven door 1. Open the oven door completely . 2. Completely fold back the brass-col- oured clamping lever on both door hinges. 3. Grip the oven door with both hands o n the sides and close it to about 3/4 going past the point of resist- ance.
38 Oven Door Glass The oven door is fitted with three glass panels mounted one behind the oth- er . The inner panels may be removed for cleaning. 1 Wa r n i n g : The following steps mus t be performed only w ith the oven door removed.
39 Inserting the middle glass p anel 1. Insert the middle gl ass panel at a n an- gle from above into the section of the door in which the handle is located. 2. Lower the middle gla ss panel and slide it under the lower bracket towar ds the lower door edge as far as it will go.
