12 THE GRILL PAN AND HANDLE The gr ill pan is sup plied with a r em ovable hand le. To insert the handl e, press th e button on the ha ndle with the thumb and pi vot the handl e sligh tl y upwards inserting t he lip into t he widest part of the brac k et.
13 · W hen using the centre sec tion of the dual grill, ensure food is positi oned centr all y on the gr ill pan grid in the gril l. · Food sho uld be th oroug hl y dried bef ore gr illing to minim ise splashing. Brush l ean m eats and fish lightl y with a little oil or melted butter to keep them m oist dur ing cook ing.
14 USES OF THE MA IN FAN OVEN PREHE A TI NG The f an oven qu ick ly reaches its tem peratur e so it is not usually necess ary to preheat the ove n. W ithout preheati ng however you may need to add an extra 5 – 10 minutes on the rec om m ended cook ing tim es.
15 TO FIT THE MA IN OVEN SHELVES There ar e 7 she lf posit ions in the oven. Shelves ar e num bered f rom the bottom upwards. The shelves should be fitted with t he str aigh t rods upperm ost on the f ram e and the f orm s towards the back of the ove n.

20 CARE OF STAYCLE AN SURFACES The bac k panel of the f an ov en is c oated with a Staycle an finis h. This should not be clean ed manuall y. Aerosol clean ers must n ot be u sed on Sta yclean surfaces and mu st no t come into conta ct wit h elements or the door seal, as this may cause damage.
