5 Operating Instructions 1 Safety Electrical Safety • The appliance may only be connecte d by a qualified electrican / compe- tent person. • In the event of any faults or damage to th e appliance: remove fuses or switch off.
6 T o A void Damaging Y our Appliance • Do not line your oven wit h aluminium foil and do not place a baking tray or dish on the oven floor , otherwise the oven enamel will be damaged by the resul ting build up of heat. • Juice from fruit that drips fr om baking trays will leave marks that cannot be removed.

10 Befor e using for the first time Setting the Time 3 The oven will only function if the time is set. The set time function indicator will flash after the appliance has been connected to the mains or following a power failure. Use the + or - buttons to set the curr ent time.
11 Initial Cleaning Before using the oven for the first time you should clean it thor oughly . 1 Caution: Do not use any caustic , abrasive cleaners! The surface could be damaged. 3 T o clean any metal fr ont panels use commer cially available cl eaning agents.
12 Operating the Oven Switching the Oven On and Of f 1. T ur n the oven functions switch to the r equired function. 2. T ur n the temperature selection switch to the requir ed temperature. The red oven power indicator is illuminated whilst the oven is in use.
13 Oven Functions The oven has the following functions: L Oven lighting With this function you can illuminate the oven interior e.g. for cleaning. The heating element is not in use. ¥ Fan Oven For roasting and baking on up to three levels simultaneously .
14 Attaching/Removing the Grill Pan Handle The handle is particularly useful for removing the grill pan and tray more easily fr om the hot oven. Attaching the handle Insert the handle at an angle from above into the recess in the side of the grill pan (1) lift it gently and then lower it (2) until you hear it click into place.
15 Clock Functions Countdown G T o set a countdown. A signal sounds after the time has elapsed. This function does not affect the operation of the oven. Cook time d T o set how long the oven is to be in use. End time e T o set when the oven is to switch off again.
16 3 General information • Once a function has been selected the corresponding function indi cator will flash for approx. 5 seconds. During this time the requir ed times can be set using the + or - button. • After the r equired time ha s been set the function indi cator will flash again for approx.
17 Countdown G 1. Press selection button T r epeatedly until the countdown function indicator G flashes. 2. Using the + or - button set the re- quired countdown G . (Max. 2 hours and 30 minutes.) After approx. 5 seconds the display will show the remaining time.
18 Cook time d 1. Press selection button T r epeatedly until the cook time function indicator d flashes. 2. Using buttons + or - set the required cooking time. After approx. 5 seconds the display will revert to the time. The cook time function indicator d is illu- minated.
19 End time e 1. Press selection button T repea tedly until the end time function indicator e flashes. 2. Using buttons + or - set the time at which you want the oven to switch of f. After approx. 5 seconds the display will revert to the time. The end time function indicator e is illu- minated.
20 Cook time d and End time e combined 3 Cook time d and end time e can be used together if the oven is to switch on and off automatically at a later time . 1. Using the cook time d function set the time requir ed for the dish to cook. In this case 1 hour .

22 Usage, T ables and Tips Baking Use the fan ¥ oven function to bake. Baking tins • Metal, glass and ceramic tins ar e suitable for use with the fan oven function ¥ . Shelf posi tion • When using the fan oven ¥ function you ar e able to ba ke dry , flat items on up to 3 baking trays simultaneously .
23 General tips • Be sure to count the shelf positions from bottom to top. • Insert the baking tray so that the slope is at the fr ont. • Always place cake tins in the middl e of the shelf. • When using the fan oven ¥ function you are also able to bake two tins side by side on a rack simultaneously .

Do not use pla tes or dishes as they significantly incr ease the defr osting time.
34 Drying with the Fan Oven Use trays lined with gr easepr oof pape r or baking paper . Y ou will achieve a better result if you switch the oven of f half way thr ough the drying time. Open and leave to cool, pr eferably overnight. Then fi nish drying the dried food.
35 Cleaning and car e 1 Wa r ni n g: For safety r easons cleaning the appliance with a steam jet c leaner or high-pressur e water cleaner is not permissible ! Exterior of the Appliance • Wipe the front of the appliance with a soft cloth dipped in warm soapy water .
36 Shelf Support Rails The shelf support rails on the left and right hand sides of the oven can be r e- moved for cleaning the side walls. Removing the shelf support rails First pull the front of the rail away from the oven wall (1) and then unhook at the back (2).

38 Oven Roof The upper heating element can be folded down to make it ea sier to clean the oven roof . Folding down the heating element 1 W arning: Only fold down the heating element when the oven is switched off and there is no risk of being burnt! 1.
39 Oven Door The oven door of your appliance may be removed for cleaning. Removing the oven door 1. Open the oven door completely . 2. Completely fold back the brass-col- oured clamping lever on both door hinges. 3. Grip the oven door with both hands on the sides and close it to about 3/4 going past the point of resist- ance.
40 Oven Door Glass The oven door is fitted with three glass panels mounted one behind the oth- er . The inner panels may be r emoved for cleaning. 1 Wa r ni n g: The following steps must be performed only with the oven door removed.
41 Inserting the middle glass panel 1. Insert the middle glass panel at an an- gle from above into the section of the door in which the handle is located. 2. Lower the middle glass panel and slide it under the lower bracket towar ds the lower door edge as far as it will go.
