Ports 17 A PPENDIX B P orts The OmniAccess 4324 Wireless LAN Switch has a number of ports, each with their own purpose: z 24 F ast Ethernet (FE) ports Used for connecting to Access Points (APs) and wired LAN segments. These 10/100 Mbps FE ports aggregate and route traffic under the direction of the switch’ s internal softw are.

Ports 19 Appendix B FE Network P orts P orts are grouped in banks of 8 (as shown in F igure B-1 on page 18 ). There are 3 banks, for a total of 24 ports. These ports provide 10/100 Mbps F ast Ethernet connectivity , and in some cases, power and seri al connectivity as well.
