6 How to avoid damage to the app liance • Do not line t he oven with alum inium foil an d do not pla ce baking trays, pots , etc. on the ov en floor , as the heat that buil ds up will d amage th e oven enam el. • Fruit juices dripp ing from the baking tray will leave stains, which you will not be able to remove.

8 Oven Featur es All of the interior walls of the oven are coated in a special enamel (catalytic coating). Ins ide of doo r On the insi de of the ov en door yo u will find the numbers of the different oven shelves.

12 Oper ating the Oven 3 The oven is equipped with retr actable button s for “Oven functions ” and “Tem- peratur e select ion” . T o use, press the relevant button . The button then po ps out. Switching the Ove n On and Off 1. Turn the oven functio ns control knob to the desired fun ction.

14 Inserting the O ven Shelf and the Roasting P an 3 Shelf runner safety and anti-tip device As a shelf runner safety device all insert able components ha ve a small curved in- denta tion at the b ottom on the righ t and lef t-hand edge. Always insert in sertable com ponents so that th is indentation is at the back of the oven in terior .
15 Inserti ng the oven shelf and the r oast- ing pan together: Lay the oven shelf on the roasting pan. Push the roasting pa n between the guide bars of the selected oven leve l.
16 Grill set The grill set consists of g rill and roasting pan. The grill can u sed on both side s . 1 War n in g : There is a risk of burn ing when r emoving the r osting p an from t he hot oven! Insertin g the gril l tray un derne ath: The grill tray rests in the r oastin g pan.
17 Clock Functions Count dow n T o set a coun tdown. A signal sounds after the time has elapsed. This function does not affect the operation of the oven. Cook t ime T o set how long the oven is to be in use. End t ime T o set wh en the oven is to switch off aga in.
18 3 How to use the clock funct ions • When a funct ion has been selected, the corr espondi ng function i ndicator flashes fo r approx. 5 seco nds. During this tim e the d esired times can be set us- ing the or button. • When the desired time has been set, the functi on indi cator flashes fo r approx.

34 Defr osting Oven function : Defrost (no temp erature setting) • Unpack the foo d and place it on a plate on the oven shelf. • Do not cover with a plate or bo wl, as these can substanti ally lengthen the d e- frosting time. • For defr osting, place the s helf on the 1st oven level fr om the bottom.

36 Cleaning and car e 1 War n in g : First switch off the ap pliance and let it cool down befo re carrying out any cleanin g. 37 Accessories Wash all slide-in units (shelf unit, baking tray , shelf supp ort rails etc.) afte r each use and dry well. Soak briefly to make them easie r to clean. Non-stick accessorie s Clean accessor ies with a sof t sponge or cloth in hot water and wash ing-up liq- uid.
38 Shelf Sup port Rails The shelf support r ails on the l eft and ri ght hand sides o f the oven can be re- moved fo r cleaning the side walls. Removing the shel f support r ails First pull the front of the rail away from the oven wal l (1) and th en unhook at t he back (2).
39 Oven Lighting 1 War n in g : There is a dang er of electric shock! Prior to changing the oven light bulb: – Switch off the oven! – Disconnect fr om the electr icity supply . 3 Place a cl oth on the ov en floor to protect t he oven light an d glass cover .
40 Oven door For easier cleaning of the oven in terior , the oven d oor can be taken off its h ing- es. Removi ng the oven door fr om it s hinges 1. Open the oven d oor as far as it w ill go. 2. Undo the clampi ng lev ers (A) on both door hin ges fu lly .
41 Hangin g the oven door back on its hinges 1. Fr om the handle si de take hold of th e oven door wi th a hand on each side an d hold at an angl e of appr ox. 45°. P osition the recesses on the bottom of the oven door on the hinges on t he oven. Let the door slid e down as far as it will go.
42 Oven door glass The oven doo r is fitt ed with thr ee panels of g lass mounted one behi nd the oth- er .The inner panels c an be r emove d for cl eanin g. 1 Important! Rough han dling, espe cially around th e edges of the front panel , can cause the glass to br eak.
43 5. T ake hold of th e door glass pa nels on thei r upper edge o ne after the other and take them out o f the guide by pulling them up- wards . . Cleaning th e door glass panel s Clean the door glass panels thor oughly with a sol ution of water an d washing up liquid.
