TRACT OR REQUIREMENTS The tractor used to operate the mower must have the power capacity to lif t, pull, and operate the Power T ake Off (PT O) at the mower ’s rated speed while traveling at a ground speed between 2 and 5 MPH.

For most mowing conditions, the RX96 lift mowe r requires a tractor with at least 55 HP and th e semi-mount and pull type mower require at least 30 HP .

OPERA TION 3.5 Drawbar-Pull T ype Mower For equipment operating at 540 RPM, the tra ctor drawbar must be po sitioned at a 14” dist ance from the hitch point to the PTO shaf t end for proper operation and min imal wear to the driveli ne.

Using the 3-point hitch control lever , position the front of the mower with it s side skids 1” less off the ground than desired cut height.

OPERA TION 8.1 Constant V elocity (CV) Driveline For mowers equipped with a Co nst ant V elocity (CV) dr iveline, the maximum turning an gle b etween the tractor and mower must be determined to ensure the joint angle does not over-extend which can cause CV joint damage.

Make sure the mower is securely blocked up before crawling beneath. Replace damaged, worn an d missing blades as complete sets to maint a in rotary balance during operation.
