TRACT OR REQUIREMENTS The tractor used to operate the mower must have the power capacity to lif t, pull, and operate the Power T ake Off (PT O) at the mower ’s rated speed while traveling at a ground speed between 2 and 5 MPH.

OPERA TION 3.5 Drawbar-Pull T ype Mower For equipment op erating at 540 RPM, the tractor drawbar must be position ed at a 14” dist ance from the hitch point to the PT O shaft end for pr oper operation and minimal wear to the driveline.

Use of an a dapter can double the opera ting speed of the Implement resulting in excessive vibration, thrown objects, and bl ade and implement failure.

Park the tractor and mower on level gr ound. 2. Using the 3-point hitch control lever , position the front of the mower with the side skids 1” less off the ground than desired cut height.

Using the t ailwheel ratchet jack or hydr aulic cylinder , position the mower so the skid shoes are 1” less of f the ground than the desired final cut height.

Recommended speed for ef ficient mower performance is between 2 and 5 mph(3- 8 kph).
