TRACT OR REQUIREMENTS The tractor used to operate the mower must have the power capacity to lift, pull, and oper ate the Power T ake Off (P TO) at the mower’s rated speed while traveling at a ground speed between 2 and 5 MPH.

For most mowing conditions, the A8 4B mower requ ires a tractor with at least 60 HP for a lift unit and 30 HP for a pull type.

Front end weight is critical to mainta in steering control and to preven t the tracto r from rearing up while driving.
