26 CYLINDER • Remove spark plug. • Pour one ounce (29 ml) of oil through spark plug hole into cylinder . • Pull starter handle slowly to dis trib ute oil. • Replace with new spark plug. BA TTER Y (IF EQUIPPED) Disconnect the battery from the engine connector and charge battery 48 hours.

6 CAUTION: Under normal usage, the catcher material is subject to de te ri o ra tion and wear and should, therefore, be checked frequently for replacement. Any replacement catcher should be checked to ensure compliance with original man u fac - tur er's spec i fi ca tions.

10 “COMBI-CUT” MOWERS Y our lawn mower was shipped ready to be used as a mulcher . T o convert to bagging or discharging: REAR BAGGING • Open rear door and remove mulcher plate. Store mulcher plate in a safe place. • Y ou can now install grass catcher.
18 DRIVE WHEELS Check drive wheels each time before you mow to be sure they move freely . The wheels not turning freely means trash, grass cuttings, etc. are in the drive wheel area and must be cleaned to free drive wheels. If necessary to clean the drive wheels, check both drive wheels.
12 “AUTOW ALK” DRIVE CONTROL • Self-propelling is controlled by hold ing the operator presence control bar down to the handle and pulling the drive con- trol lever(s) rearward to the handle. The farther toward the handle the lever(s) are pulled, the faster the unit will travel.
