To record from the line-in connector s: Once you have created a new session the Line-In Record screen allows you to begin the recording process: If your Line-in Source is the Analog Input , you will need to set the recording Gain to an appropriate level.
To c hang e the name of the new track: While the recording is in progress change the name of the new track as follows: • Highlight the Recording option and press Edit. • Edit the track name using the alphanumeric keys on your VIA!dj remote or by using the text grid on the VIA!dj front panel.
PRESETS Presets are simple playlists that can be used in the same way as a preset station on your radio tuner . For example, you may have a preset which plays a particular album, a preset that plays all the albums by a particular artist, or a preset that plays all the music in a particular genre.
