LC-XT1 . This projector uses nominal input voltages of 100-120 V or 200-240 V AC. The proj ector auto matically selects t he correct input voltage. It i s designed to work with sing le- phase power systems having a grounded neutral conduct or. To reduce t he risk of electrical shock, do not plug into any ot her type of power sy stem.

LC-XT1 . TURNING ON THE PROJECTOR 1. Complete th e peripheral connec tions (with C omputer, VC R, etc.) before turning on the pr ojector. (R efer to “CONN ECTING TO THE PROJECTOR” on Pages 12-1 5 for conn ecting that equipment.) 2 Connect the projector’s AC Power C ord into a wall o utlet and turn the M AIN ON / OFF S W ITCH to ON .

LC-XT1 . When connecting to the computer, select a computer signal type (Digital or A nalog) in INPU T SOURCE Menu. 1 Press the MENU button and the O N-SCREEN M ENU will appear . Press t he POINT LEF T/RI GHT buttons to s elect INP UT SOURCE and pres s the SELEC T button.

LC-XT1 . This Projector can automatically tune to the display signals from most personal computers currently distributed. However, some computers employ special sign al formats which are different from the standard ones and may not be tuned by the Multi-Scan system of this projector.
LC-XT1 . Total lines The number of the total vertica l lines. Adju st the n umber to match the i mage of your perso nal computer . Total dots The number of the total dots in one horizont al perio d. Adjust the number to match t he imag e of your co mputer.
LC-XT1 . NOTE: The Fine sync and t he Total dots cann ot be operated w hen the input signal is digital from DVI ter minal or “RGB” is selected on the SYSTEM MENU (P28 and 29).
LC-XT1 . ‘-‘C’’ The AUT O IMAGE f unction cannot be operated when t he input s ignal is digital f rom DVI term inal or “RG B”, “480p” , ‘575p”, “HDT V72Op”, “HDT V1O35i” or “ HDTV1O8O i” is selected on the S YSTEM SELECT menu.

Press the POINT LEFT/RIGHT buttons to sele ct INPUT SOURCE and press the SELECT button. An other dialog b ox INPUT SO URCE Menu will appear .

LC-XT1 . On start When this fun ction is “On” t he proje ctor is auto matically turned on just by switch ing the M AIN ON / OFF S WITCH on. NOT E: Be sur e to turn the projector off properly (refer to the section “TURNING OFF THE PROJECTOR” on page 23).

N OTE: When the computer has no mouse port, connect the Serial Port of th e computer to C ontrol Port of the projector with the C ontrol Cable f or Serial Port The Wireless Remote Control Unit is not only able to operate the projector but also usable as a wireless mouse for most P ersonal Compu ters.
LC-XT1 . computer is s witched on first, the W ireless Mouse may not work pr operly. The T EMPERATURE W ARNING Indicator flas hes red when the intern al temperat ure of th e projector ex ceeds the norma l temperatur e. The Indic ator stops fl ashing w hen the tem perature of the projector returns t o normal.
LC-XT1 . This Projector is equ ipped with 4 Project ion Lamps t o ensur e bright er image an d those la mps are con trolled by Lamp M anagement Function. Lamp M anagement Function detects th e statu s of all lam ps and show s the st atus on s creen or on t he LAM P REPLACE indicator .
LC-XT1 . Follow the se steps to replace t he lamp assembly . 1 Check the number of l amp to be rep laced o n Lamp St atus Display. 2 Turn off the pro jector and d isconne ct the AC Pow er Cord. Allow the projector t o cool dow n for at le ast 45 minutes.
