Portable Air Conditioner Owner’s Manual This owner’s manual provides instructions on safe installation use, and maintenance. Please read it carefully and save it for reference AP10000H W.

7 Instructions to insta ll the carbon filter 1. Remove the pre-filter frame from the unit. 2. Remove the activated carbon filter from its plastic bag. 3. Place the activated carbon filter o n t he back of t he un it. 4. Install the pre-filter frame to the unit.
8 Installation – Exhaust Hose Follow the instructions be low to install the window kit and exhaust hose. FIG.5 1. Open the window and insert the w indow kit to cover the open gap. Next, slide the window across so that the kit is held securely. You may need to adjust the size o f the window kit and secure it with screws.
9 Installation – Exhaust Hose Use the hose provided and attach the exhaus t hose to the back of the air conditioner. Avoid kinks and bends in the exhaust hose as this will cause the uni t to work l ess efficiently. Improper setup may cause the unit to overheat and shut off.
10 Operation – Using the Control Panel Turning the Unit On or Off Press the Power button and the unit will start in au to mode. If the ambient temperat ure is: o F, the unit will operate in cooling mode. - Higher than 68 o F but below or equal to o F, the unit will operate in fan mode.
11 Operation – Using the Control Panel Setting the Temperatu re 1. Press the ‘Up’ or ‘Down‘ buttons to set the temperature you desire. 2. The display window will show the tem perature you set as you press the ' Up' or ‘Down' buttons.

NOTICE ! 1. To prolong the compressor's life, please wait at least 3 minutes before turning the unit back on after shutting it off.
13 Maintenance – Water Drainage This portable air conditioner is de signed to exhaust most or all water dehumidified from the air. In high humidity situations, the internal water reserv oir may fill. If the reservoir is full, bo th the compressor and motor will stop and the unit will buzz a warning (you can press any button to stop the buzzing).
14 Maintenance – Extending the Drain Tube The drain tube may be e xtended by adding an extension tube and using a suitable connector. FIG.17 Please note 1. The drain must be at or below the outlet level. 2. Flashing Comp / Water indicator will not function in this mode of drainage.
15 Maintenance – Cleaning the Unit Always unplug the air conditioner from the power outlet before cleaning. Clean the air conditioner regularly to maximize performance and efficiency. Cleaning the unit Use a soft damp cloth to wipe the body clean. Use a soft bristle brush to clean betwee n the control panel’s buttons.
16 Optimizing Performance For Maximum P erformance an d Efficie n cy : 1. Do not cover the air outlet (exhaust) while in use. 2. Do not place the unit in front of curtains or drapes- to ensure they do not obstruct the air intake. 3. Minimize the le ngth of the exhaust h ose.
17 Troubleshooting My air conditioner is not functioning at all. - The air conditioner may not be receiving electr ical power. Make sure the unit is plugged in. - Press the test/reset butto ns on the LCDI power cord. - Move the air conditioner to another outlet that is able to provide sufficient po wer.
