DX-DRTVM112 5 Installation instructions STEP 1 - Determining the hole pattern on y our T V 1 Carefully place your TV screen face down on a c ushioned, clean sur face to protect the sc reen fr om damage and sc ratches . 2 If your TV has a table top stand attached, r emove the stan d.
6 STEP 2 - Determine wh ether your T V has a flat, irregular , or obstructed back 1 T emporarily lay the TV bracket ( A ) and adapters ( C ), if necessary , on the back of your TV . 2 Align the screw holes in the TV bracket with the mounting screw holes on your TV .
DX-DRTVM112 7 STEP 3 - Selec t screw s and spacers 1 Selec t the hardwar e for your T V (screws and spacer s). A limited number of TVs come with mounting hardware included. (If there are screws that came with the TV , they are almost always in the h oles on the back of the TV .
8 STEP 4 - Option 1: Attaching the mounting hard w are to T V s with a flat back 1 Align the TV brack et ( A ) with the screw holes on the back of th e TV . 2 Install washers ( G ), and screws ( E ) into the holes in the back of the TV . 3 Tigh ten the screws un til they are snug aga inst the TV bracket .
DX-DRTVM112 9 STEP 4 - Option 2: Attaching the mounting hardware to T V s with irregular or obstructed backs 1 Align the T V bracket ( A ) with the screw holes on t he back of the T V .

DX-DRTVM112 11 STEP 6 - Option 1: Installing on a wood stud* w all Note : Any dry wall c overing the wall must not ex ceed 5/8" (16 mm). 1 Locate the stud. V erify the center of the stud with an edge -to -edge stud finder . 2 Align the wall plate template ( D ) at the height you determined in the previous step and make sur e that it is level .

DX-DRTVM112 13 STEP 7 - Mounting the T V to the wall plate 1 Place the T V brack et ( A ) into the slott ed flanges of the wall plate ( B ). The TV can be m ounted either (1) vertically , or (2) with a 6 ° tilt. 2 Lock the TV and bracket assembly t o the wall pl ate by rotating the lock into the flange slot.
14 STEP 8 - Removing the T V from the wall plat e and disassembling the wall mount 1 Unlock the TV and bracket assembly from the wall plate by rotating the lock out of t he flange slot.
