2 Con necting the Pow er The scale is powered through the include d power adapter . Optionall y , the scale can be pow ered through a USB port on your comput er or by three AAA batt eries. T o connect the power adapter 1. Plug the power adapter into the power connector on the back of the scale.
3 T urning On the P owe r The scale has an Auto Shut O ff feature which automatically turns off the scal e after three minutes of inactivity . Y ou can turn off this A uto Shut Off featur e. T o turn the sca l e on ♦ Press on the front of the scale.
4 Using the H old Fe ature When an item being weighed ex tends over the front of th e scale and you cannot see the display , you can freeze the displa y so that the weight is still di splayed after r e moving th e item. T o use the Hold feature 1. P ress .
