2 T urning on the Pow er When usin g batteries t o powe r the scale, the scale au tomatically tu rns off after two m inutes of ina ctiv ity. T o turn the scale on ♦ Press the Powe r button on the front o f the scale to turn t he scale on and off .
3 T o use the Hold featu re 1. Press the Hold button. Hold flashes in the display . 2. Place the item on the scale platfo rm. 3. After a fe w secon ds, the display show s Hold without fla shing and the scale makes a beeping noi se. 4. Remove the ite m from the scal e.
4 T o calculate the Insurance, C OD, or Registered Mail postage amount for an item 1. Calculate the USPS postage amount f or the item. 2. Press Insuranc e (1) , CO D ( 2 ) , or Registered (4) . 3. Enter a va lue for the item, and th en press Enter . The postage amount appears in the lower-left of the display .
