8 2-2 Attach ing th e S trap ● Insert the t hin en d o f the s t r a p int o the st ra p hold er . . ● P ass the other end of the strap through the loop.
9 2-3 Load ing the Batteri es ● First, turn the camera off . ● Insert 2 x AAA al kaline or Ni-MH re chargeable batteries. Mak e sure the batteries are full y charged. If the batteries are low on power , change the batteries as soon as possible to main tain optimal operation.
10 2-4 Loading a n d Removin g t h e Memory Car d ● First turn off the camera. ● Insert the memory card accordin g to the direction indicated by the a rro w . 2. Removing the Memory Card ● Press t he memor y card down gent ly firs t. ● The memory card w ill pop up automaticall y .
11 ● T o av oid d amage to the SD card or c amer a, do not remove the SD card while rec ordi ng or pla yin g back im ages . ● If the memory card is inserted the wrong way , it will not fit. Do not force the card or you could cause damage to the card of camera .
12 3-1 LED Indicators The LE Ds located on the top of the LCD screen indi cate: Macro LED Standb y/Bu sy ( G r e e n L E D ) ( R e d L E D ) Macro (Left Green L ED) T he gre en LED w i ll be on w h en t h e Macro switch on th e left hand side of the camera is switched to Macro mode.
13 3-3 Power Supply ● T o turn on the camera, press do wn the power bu tton. ● T o turn off the camera, press the power button again. ● When the camera i s turned on, the red indi cator will briefl y illumin ate and the LCD screen will come on. This camera is equipped with power saving software.
14 3-4 Shutter Button ● This camera is designed for a 2- step shutter function. A "[ ]" mark will appear in the center of the LCD screen when the Shutter butt on is pr ess ed and he ld half wa y down.

16 4-1 Mode Selection Menu (1) This mode is th e entry of other modes. Under any situation, once the MODE button is pressed and held, the c amer a will enter to this mode. (2) Press the “ Prev ” or “ Next ” button to select one of other modes.

M a k e s u r e y o u h a v e i n s e r t e d a n S D c a r d w i t h a v a i l a b l e m e m o r y. C l i c k O K . T h e camera will copy the files wi thin a DC IM directory in th e 100FSCAM fi le.
24 4-5 Transferrin g Pictures to Y our Computer (PC M od e) In this mode , the user can s et the PC co nnection mo de. MASS STORAGE is for tran sferring files fr om the camer a to a PC . PC CAMERA is for we b conferencing. Both modes will ask for a USB ca ble to be connected.
