Preparations Turn off the power of this unit. 1 Connect th e SUPER WOOFER or SUB WOOFER jack on the stereo system side a to the INPUT 1 (FROM SUPER WOOFER TERMINAL ) jack on the pow ered su bw oofer b w ith the supplied connecting co rd. 2 Set the INPUT SELECT switch to "1 ".
ADJUSTING THE VOLUME BALANCE Adjust the volu me balan ce between the pow ered subw oofer an d the left an d right speak ers of the conn ected stereo system . 1 Pr ess the P OWE R b utton. The indicator above the bu tton lights u p. 2 Start playback on the conn ected s tereo system.
Depending u pon the room or the characteristics of the righ t and left speak ers, sound from the powered su bwoof er may seem unnatural o r unusually loud o r so ft. In this case, try changing the PHASE sw itch setting. Set to the NORMAL or REVERSE position, whichever sounds better.
