34 Lamp Lamp The projector uses a high-pressure mercury glass lamp. The lamp can break with a loud bang, or burn out, if jolted or scratched, handled while hot, or worn over time. Note that each lamp has a different lifetime, and some may burst or burn out soon after you start using them.
35 Lamp (continued) Lamp (continued) After making sure that the projector has cooled adequately, slide the knob of a lamp cover lock as shown in the Figure. Then, one side of the lamp cover is raised. Pull up the lamp cover and remove it, as shown in the Figure.
Apply a vacuum cleaner to the top of the filter cover and the air filter to clean. If the soiling will not come off the air filter, or it becomes damaged, it needs to be replaced. If the air filter needs to be replaced, contact your dealer to prepare a new air filter.
37 Other Care Other Care WARNING • Please carefully read the “User’s Manual - Safety Guide”. • Before caring, make sure the power switch is off and the power cable is not plugged in. • Be cautious of high temperature. Do not touch about the lens and ventilation openings during use or immediately after use prevent a burn.
