IMPOR T ANT SAFETY 2 ENGLISH Read the Operating Instructions carefully and completely before operating the unit. Be sure to keep the Operating Instructions for future reference. All warnings and cautions in the Operating Instructions and on the unit should be strictly followed, as well as the safety suggestions below.
ENGLISH 3 Object and Liquid Entry – Never push objects of any kind into this unit through the cabinet slots as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short-circuit parts that could result in a fire or electric shock. Never spill liquid of any kind on the unit.
Maintenance To clean the cabinet Use a soft cloth lightly moistened with mild detergent solution. Do not use strong solvents such as alcohol, benzine or thinner.
Remote contr ol (CSD-TD69 only) Insert two R6 (size AA) batteries. R6 (AA) When the reach of the remote control signal is less than 5 meters (16 feet), replace the batteries.
1 Press RADIO/BAND * repeatedly to select the desired band. FM AM The power is turned on and the previously tuned station is received. * or BAND on the remote control (applicable when the AC cord is connected, CSD-TD69 only) 2 Press f , g (TUNING - , + ) to select a station.
0-9, +10 MODE EQ f , g VOL k , i s STOP BAND DISPLAY e PLAY / PAUSE PRESETTING STATIONS You can preset up to 15 stations in each band. 1 Select a station. 2 Press s STOP/SET/CLEAR * once so that “M” is displayed to store the station. A station is assigned a preset number, beginning from 1 in consecutive order for each band.
1 Press CD. The power is turned on. 2 Press PUSH OPEN to open the disc compartment. Place a disc with the printed side up and close the disc compartment. PUSH OPEN Total number of tracks and total playing time are displayed. It will take about 15 seconds when loading a CD-RW disc.
PROGRAMMED PLAY Up to 30 tracks can be programmed from the disc. 1 In stop mode, hold down s STOP/SET/ CLEAR * until “M” flashes in the display. The program number, “ P-01 ” is also displayed. * or s STOP on the remote control (CSD-TD69 only) 2 Press f or g to select a track, then press s to store it.
• Use Type I (normal) tapes only. • The unit plays (records on) the side facing up. PLAYBACK 1 Press TAPE. The power is turned on. 2 Press PUSH EJECT to open the cassette holder and insert a tape with the side to be played facing out and the exposed side facing down.
RECORDING 1 Insert a tape with the side to be recorded on facing out and the exposed side facing down. 2 Get ready to record from the source. To record from a CD, press CD and load the disc. To record from a radio broadcast, press RADIO/BAND and tune to a station.

Control r emoto (CSD-TD69 solamente) Insertar dos pilas R6 (tama ñ o AA). R6 (AA) Cambiar las pilas cuando la distancia de funcionamiento del control remoto sea inferior a 5 metros. El control remoto pudiera no funcionar correctamente en las situaciones siguientes: - Cuando el aparato est á expuesto a una fuerte luz, como la luz directa del sol.
1 Pulsar repetidamente RADIO/BAND * para seleccionar la banda deseada. FM AM Se enciende el aparato y se sintoniza la emisora que estaba sintonizada en el momento de apagarlo previamente. * o BAND en el control remoto (cuando est á conectado el cable de alimentaci ó n, CSD-TD69 solamente).
MEMORIZACIÓN DE EMISORAS Se pueden memorizar hasta un total de 15 emisoras en cada banda. 1 Seleccionar una emisora. 2 Pulsar s STOP/SET/CLEAR * una vez de manera que se indique “M” para almacenar en memoria la emisora. La emisora recibe un n ú mero de memoria, empezando por el 1 en orden consecutivo para cada banda.
18 ESPAÑOL 1 Pulsar CD. Se enciende el aparato. 2 Pulsar PUSH OPEN para abrir el compartimiento del disco. Colocar un disco con el lado impreso hacia arriba y cerrar el compartimiento. PUSH OPEN Se indica en la pantalla el n ú mero total de pistas y el tiempo total de reproducci ó n.
ESPAÑOL 19 E REPRODUCCIÓN PROGRAMADA Se puede programar la reproducci ó n de hasta 30 pistas de un disco. 1 En la modalidad de parada, mantenga oprimido s STOP/SET/CLEAR * hasta que “M” parpadee en la pantalla. Tambi é n se presenta el n ú mero de programa “ P-01 ” .
MANEJO DE LA PLATINA C • Utilizar solamente cintas de tipo I (normales). • El aparato reproduce (graba) en el lado encarado hacia arriba. REPRODUCCIÓN 1 Presione TAPE.
GRABACIÓN 1 Inserte una cinta con el lado en el que se va a grabar encarado hacia afuera y el lado donde la cinta queda expuesta encarado abajo. 2 Preparar la grabación desde la fuente de sonido. Para grabar desde un CD, pulsar CD y cargar un disco.
