3 © 2007 Directed Electronics - all rights reserved Using your system Arming your system Y ou can activate, or arm, the system by locking the doors with your fac- tory keyless entry transmitter . When the system arms, you will hear a short sir en sound and see the parking lights flash once.
4 © 2007 Directed Electronics-all rights reserved Armed protection When armed, your vehicle is pr otected as follows: z Light impacts to your vehicle will trigger the W ar n A way sig- nal. The system will pulse the hor n and flash the parking lights for a few seconds.
5 © 2007 Directed Electronics - all rights reserved Multi-level security arming (If pr ogrammed ON ) Multi-Level Security Arming allows the user to select sensors to be active or bypassed when the system is armed.
6 © 2007 Directed Electronics-all rights reserved Disarming T o disarm the system, unlock the doors using your factory keyless trans- mitter . The siren will sound twice, and the parking lights will flash twice. If the sir en sounds either four or five times when disarming, refer to the Diagnostics section of this guide.

This is very useful when washing the vehicle or having it serviced. In V alet ® Mode, the system will not arm, even with the transmitter , but all con- venience functions (door locks, trunk r elease, etc.

T o stop Panic Mode at any time, pr ess the unlock button on your factory transmitter . Nuisance Pr evention Cir cuitry ® Y our system has Nuisance Prevention Cir cuitry ® (NPC ® ).

The only ways to reset a bypassed zone are for it to not trigger for 60 minutes or to turn on the ignition.
