This cir cuitry is design ed to prevent repetitive tri gger sequences d ue to f aulty door pin switches or envi- ronm ental conditi on s such as th under , jackhammers , airport noise , etc .
12 © 2001 Directed Electr onics , Inc . Diagnostics The mi croprocessor at th e h eart of your system has th e ability to constan tly monitor all of th e switch es and sen sors connected to it. It can d etect any faulty switch es or sen sors and pr event them fr om disabling th e entire system.

If you hear five chirps wh en you disarm, this indi cates that a specific zone was tri gg ered so m any times that th e NPC ™ has bypassed that zone . In both cases , the pattern of th e flashing status LED indi cates whi ch zone was tri g- ger ed (see T able o f Z ones).

If the system is r earmed durin g that 30-secon d period , the interi or ligh t illumination will termin ate un til the alarm is disarm ed once again.
