3 W hat Does This Do? Le vel Knob - Controls the delay level. T ur n this knob clockwise to increase and counter -clockwise to decrease the delay level. When Reverse Delay is selected, dr y signal is not heard and this knob con- trols the output level of the Rever se delay effect.

8 T ap T empo Delay The HardWire Delay/Looper’ s Foot Switch can be used as a T ap T empo switch for setting the delay time dur ing a live performance . T o access T ap T empo, do the following: While the delay effect is bypassed, press and hold the Foot Switch for 3 seconds.
9 the Indicator LED stops flashing and lights solid RED again. Once T ap T empo mode is exited, the tapped delay time remains active until either the delay type is changed or the TIME knob is used.
10 Loop Delay The Loop Delay type is used to create an infinite stereo delay loop up to 20 seconds long. Once a loop is created, you can add ov erdub par ts to it. T o use the Loop type , do the following: Select LOOP using the T ype knob. Press and hold the Foot Switch.
11 Switch is held down, indicating that anything played is being recorded and added to the loop. T o stop the loop, quickly press the Foot Switch. This puts the pedal into Bypass and the Indicator LED turns off. The loop stops playing and clear s the memor y .
12 T ails Switch The HardWire Delay/Looper features a switch that allows the delay repeats to continue being heard after the effect is bypassed. When the T ails Switch is set ON, the HardWire Delay/Looper does not utilize tr ue hardwire bypass. If y ou always want to use tr ue hardwire bypass, set the T ails Switch to OFF .

16 Batter y Operation In the event that batter y pow er is completely depleted, HardWire pedals automatically switch into bypass. This eliminates the need to remov e the pedal from your pedal chain if the batter y is dead.
