Make sure control knob of heater is in the OFF position. 4. Check all joints from manual shutoff valve to control valve (see Figure 14).

LIMITED WARRANTY VANGUARD VENT-FREE RESIDENTIAL GAS HEATERS DESA International warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and components for three (3) years from the date of first purchase, provided that the product has been properly installed, operated and maintained in accordance with all applicable instructions.
