Operation 4.1 Verification The " Verify" funct ion can be used to check whether a security strip has been sensitised or not . Place the book in t he Model 955 as illustrated adjacent. Make sure that the light beam fr om the optical sensor is not interr upted.
Troubleshooting 5 T roubleshooti ng Malfunct ion Possible causes Remedy The sensitising / desensitising pulse is not trig ger ed. The optical sensor is dirty. Clean the optical sensor with suitable mater ials (e.g. cotton wool buds). The security mark er is not activated / deactivated althoug h the sensitising / desensitising pulse is trig gered.
