ASSEMBLY OPERATION REPLACEMENT PARTS READ complete manual CAREFULLY BEFORE attempting operation. BOLT TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS Size Grade Torque 5/16" 5 20 ft/lbs. 3/8" 5 35 ft/lbs. 7/16" 5 56 ft/lbs. 1/2" 5 85 ft/lbs. Size Torque 8mm 22 ft/lbs.
IMPORTANT INSTALLATION ITEMS DEMCO products and accessories are intended to be installed by professional installers with experi- ence, proper equipment and the ability to do modifi- cation work. Installers with these qualifications can be found in RV and Automotive Service Centers.
2. Install baseplate to frame with 1/2" x 5" hex bolt, two flatwashers, lockwasher and hex nut, on each side, in rear hole of baseplate. Bolt goes from inside of frame outwards with rear brace plate on outside of frame. On passenger side use lower slotted hole and drivers side use upper slot- ted hole.
6. Install nut strip into end of frame and secure with two 1/2" x 1-1/2" hex bolts, flatwasher and lockwashers on each side. 7. Cut lower valance panel, as shown above, and reinstall. Replace license plate bracket using two 1/4" x 3/4" hex bolts, flatwashers, lockwashers and hex nuts.
