3. Remove the screw holding the card retention bracket. 4. Lift the card retention bracket and set it aside in a secure place. 5. Remove the filler bracket to create a card - slot opening.
Replace the card retention bracket ensuring that: l The guide clamp is aligned with the guide notch. l The tops of all cards and filler brackets are flush with the alignment bar. l The notch in the top of the card or filler bracket fits around the alignment guide.

Boot Sequence This feature allows you to change the boot sequence for devices. Boot Options l Hard Drive — The computer attempts to boot from the primary hard drive. If no operating system is on the drive, the computer generates an error message.
The Boot Device Menu appears, listing all available boot devices. Each device has a number next to it. 4. On the Boot Device Menu choose the device you want to boot from. For example, if you are booting to a USB memory key, highlight USB Flash Device and press <Enter>.
Clearing CMOS Settings 1. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin . 2. Remove the computer cover (see Replacing the Computer Cover ). 3. Locate the 3 - pin CMOS jumper (CLEAR_CMOS) on the system board (see System Board Components ).
