Power Management 41 Setting Battery Alarms and Actions This scr een allows you to enab le the low-battery and critical-b attery alarms and to change settings for the alarms.

When the computer exits hibernate mode , it returns to the same operating state it was in before enteri ng hibernate mode.
Power Management 43 Alarms T ab NOTE: T o enable audible alarms, click each Alarm Action button and select Sound alarm . The Lo w battery alarm and Critica l battery alarm settings alert you wi th a m essage wh en the battery charge falls below a certain percen tage.

Using a Battery 47 Charge Gauge Before you insert a battery , press the status button on the batte ry charge gauge to illuminate the charge-level lights. Each light r e presents approx imately 20 percent of the total battery char ge. F or example, if the battery has 80 percent of its ch ar ge remaining, four of the lights are on.
