5 BIOS compatibility Because of the numerous BI OS sy stems on the market, and the constant chang es in them and in processor optimizations, mice, and key boards, it is impossible to guarantee universal compatibility for the Voy ag er key board/mouse emulation.
6 Cable Requirements Cables to connect the Voy ager Loc al unit to your PC’s s y st em unit are supplied in the package . Your keyboard, monitor and mouse will plug straight in to the Voy ager Remote Unit.

8 The Quick system guide illustrates how the units are interco nnected . 1. Switch off y our PC 2. Connect the local Voy ager, key board, monitor and mouse as shown in the appropriate diagram (page 8). You can use the local without mouse, key board and monitor.
9 Picture quality can be im proved when using a skew delay compensator, at long distances over 100 meters and higher resolution than 1024X768 the picture can be improved. La unch a black t ext on white background look out for colour change. If you have any colour shades on y our picture install a Skew delay compensator next to the remote.

11 Keyboard & Mouse Emulation The Voy ager uses a microprocessor to emulate the key board a nd mouse. I t is not necessary to have any key board or mouse connected to local u nit either at start-up or during use. Some mices and key boards need to be plugged in bef ore boot up.

13 • Is it possible to use a cable length of more than 300m? The Voyag er has been designed to produce acceptable results with Super VGA resolutions at the max imum cable length 400M. I t may be possible to run up to 400 meters. The si gnal needs to bee restored.
14 The Voy ager uses t he same cable as your network, but it cannot be connected into y our network in any way. The Voyager must have dedicated cables in the network. Connecting oth er equip ment on the same cables as the Voyager voids the guarantee and may damage the V oyager.
