1 MAN#650334:A MCL-30K-SPD Thank y ou for purchas ing the Dakota Digital MCL-30K-SPD gauge for y our Harley Dav idson Touring bik e. This is designed to be a replacement f or all touring models from 1996 – 2003. This is part of a six gauge pack age for touring models s o y ou can add additional g auges as you choose.
2 MAN#650334:A ROAD GLIDE FLTR You w ill need to remove the speedom eter and tachometer ins trument bezel. To do this, rem ove two small screws on the left and right side of the bezel.
3 MAN#650334:A WIRING First locate your speedometer connector s in the factory wi ring harness that were unplugged from the original speed gauge. The wires needed for the Dak ota Digital speedometer should all be found here. T he factory connector can be cut off or the new wi res can be spliced into the harness.
4 MAN#650334:A FUNCT ION SWIT CH The push button f unction switch mounted beside the speedom eter allows access to all of the m ileage and perform ance inform ation. Pressing and releasing the function switch toggles through the diff erent display s. Pressing and holding the swi tch for about 2 sec onds will reset the current display .
