7. Insert the wires through the al uminum spacer, with one wire going through each one of the outer holes. Ensure wires are not pinched to avoid shorting! Slide the aluminum spacer over the stud thorough the hole in the center of t he spacer, shoulder side towa rd the back of the tail light bezel.
10. Cut off the existing light socket as it will not be used. Do not strip the wires. Trim the wires from LED assembly to appropria te length once mounted, making su re wires are routed cleanly and securely. 11. Use the supplied moisture resistant pigtail co nnectors* to attach the wires from the new LED assembly to the existing vehicle harness.
