INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIO NS LAT-NR101 LED Tail Lights for 1967-6 8 RS Cam aro. MAN# 650195 Kit includes: Installation: 67-68 RS Camaro 1. Remove the original bulb sockets from the housing. 2. Remove the tail light housing hardware so the housing can be taken out of the car.
4. Now is a good time to clean the lens and ho using. If lenses are in bad shape a new set is recommended. 5. Remove the mounting plate from the bottom of the assembly; it is attached with two 3/8” 6-32 machine screws. 6. Pass the wires through the housing wher e the original bulb and socket where.
9. Screw the mounting plate into the mount using the two previ ously removed 3/8” #6 screws. This will secure the LED assembly into the h ousing. You are now ready for re-assembly. 10. Repeat the steps above for the second light. 11. Install the lens and reassemble the housing, insuri ng all gaskets are intact and in place.
12. Cut off the existing light socket as it will not be used. Do not strip the wires. Trim the wires from LED assembly to appropria te length once mounted, making su re wires are routed cleanly and securely. 13. Use the supplied moisture resistant pigtail co nnectors* to attach the wires from the new LED assembly to the existing vehicle harness.
