PRE-INST ALLA TION 1 INST ALLA TION HANGERS (If required) 1 . Make sure one hanger is appro ximately 25" from end of case (motor end). 2. Make sure second hanger is appro ximately 1 1 1 ⁄ 2 " from opposite end of case. 3. Place a third hanger on the center line of fabric.
SCREEN ADJUSTMENT 2 Surface tra vel is stopped automatically in the fully opened and closed positions by limit switc hes that are properly ad- justed at Da-Lite. TROUBLESHOOTING SYMPTOM 1 . Screen will not operate or will not go “down” . 2. Motor hums. CAUSE (a) Blown fuse. (b) T ripped circuit breaker . (c) Improper wiring to operating switc h. (d) Improper wiring to junction box in screen. (e) Thermal o verload tripped (ex ces- sive o verheating).
6 TROUBLESHOOTING SYMPTOM 3. Screen will not mov e “up.” Motor does not hum. Motor hums. CAUSE (a) Blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker . (b) No pow er bet ween red and white leads in junction box. (c) Thermal o verload tripped. (d) Burned out motor winding.
TROUBLESHOOTING SYMPTOM 9. Inconsistent stopping points. CAUSE (a) Limit switc h trav el plate not mov - ing. (b) Excessiv e end play in lead screw of limit switc h assembly . SOLUTION (a) Tighten set screws located on nylon gears (driv es limit switc h).
