4 UNP ACKING & PLACEMENT 1. Remove your Cuisinart ® Countertop Filtration System carefully from the box. 2. Position the unit on a stable flat surface, close to a main power outlet. Avoid direct sunlight and keep out of the reach of children. 3. Allow at least 10 cm of spac e ar ound the side s and rear of the unit for proper air circulation.
5 NOTE: Upper and lower tan ks must be compl ete ly full before proceeding. 1. Place a glass under the rig ht spig ot and pres s and continue to hold the COLD but ton unt il wat er flow becom es steady (may take up to 3 minutes). 2. Repeat process with ROOM button, and then with the HOT button until all flow steadily .
6 TROUBLESHOOTING Symptom Possible Cause Solution On/Off Power but- ton does not light up. Unit might not be plugged into outlet. Check the wall outlet for power . Make sure the outlet is not controlled by a wall switch. It takes longer than 45 minutes for the water to pass through the lter .
